In the Nand Nagri area of North East Delhi, a man was allegedly shot dead due to a longstanding dispute. This information was confirmed by the police on Saturday.
Authorities reported that a 20-year-old suspect has been apprehended in connection with the murder, which occurred late Friday night into Saturday.
A locally made pistol was recovered from the arrested individual. According to officials, the Nand Nagri police station received reports of the shooting incident. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a 28-year-old man named Kapil had sustained gunshot wounds.
Victim Pronounced Dead
Kapil was transported to GTB Hospital, where he was declared dead by medical staff. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation, with a team examining the crime scene and a forensic team collecting evidence.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Shivam Yadav, 20, and subsequently arrested. Officials stated, 'During questioning, the accused admitted to shooting Kapil over an old dispute. Further inquiries are ongoing.'
